The Crozet WTP at 4675 Three Notch’d Road, Charlottesville, Virginia, 22901 is constructing a
new building/structure for a new Granular Activated Carbon Facility. In general, the work includes
electrical work, building foundation and pre-engineered metal building, associated mechanical and
electrical equipment, relocation of underground utilities, site work (grading, fencing, and driveway
improvements), site piping (backwash supply, backwash waste, GAC effluent, and clearwell
influent water main), installation of process equipment for additional GAC treatment, GAC
contactors, intermediate services pipes, process piping, and construction of a new cast-in-place
concrete clearwell structure.

The improvements include eliminating the onsite hydropneumatic tank and
installing a vertical turbine pump skid with variable frequency drives and a bladder tank. Other
improvements include piping modifications, building repair, demolition of obsolete equipment, and
temporary piping and facilities to ensure minimal water service outages during construction.

The project will consist of the following work:
▪ Installation of a new 2,500 gallon aluminum sulfate storage tank.
▪ Installation of a new chemical pump enclosure, chemical pumps, piping and
appurtenances.
▪ Associated piping and site work.
▪ Related incidental work.

Work includes the partial rehabilitation of the Lower Sycolin Sewage Pumping Station to meet
expected flow demand and includes the refurbishment of three existing pumps and installation of
a new, fourth pump for redundancy, with check valves, piping, and other improvements, and all
incidentals related thereto.

Campbell County Utilities and Service Authority will receive sealed bids for the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment, and the performing of all work for the above referenced project. Contract A is work related to the pump station site. The project includes associated erosion and sediment control measures necessary to construct the project.

Sitework and Waste Water Treatment Upgrade for Frito-Lay

The Project consists of installation of an additional pump, new discharge pipe, and related work at an
existing water pump station in Roanoke, Virginia.

A new well and pump house located next to the existing water storage tank. New headworks and chemical treatment configuration. New pumps and existing tank cleaning and disinfection. Demolition of existing items, re-piping of others, and associated site and electrical work.

The Project consists of construction of a new water pump station and associated pipelines and site
improvements in Roanoke and Botetourt Counties, Virginia.

Staunton Bank Restoration – the stabilization of 260LF.

Sitework for solar farm in Gretna, VA

The construction of a 125,000 gallons concrete tank with 10 Hp floating
mechanical mixer to provide additional time and mixing of Potassium
Permanganate ejected at the Raw Water Intake. To connect the new tank
into the system, will require cutting into the existing 16-inch raw water
pressure main. Also, there will be 12-inch DIP overflow/drain line and a
Rate of Flow Control Valve and actuator plus electrical work for
energizing the mixer and actuator.

The project is to filter the mill wastewater effluent prior to discharge to the James River through the installation of (1) disc filter downstream of the existing secondary clarifier, as well as new effluent piping from the disc filter to the existing river outfall. The new filter and process support equipment will be installed in an area of land reclaimed from the existing wastewater treatment polishing pond. There are two phases of this project as follows:

• Phase 1 of the Final Effluent Filtration Project is to complete the Site Reclamation of the area required for installation of the future equipment. (NOT PART OF THIS BID)
• Phase 2 of the Final Effluent Filtration Project includes installation of the filter, piping, and process support equipment. (THIS IS PART OF THIS BID)

The Replacement of two existing pumps, piping, valves and appurtenances and installing two new 50 hp pumps, in the existing Duke Street Pump Station. In addition to the two new pumps, the Work includes process mechanical piping, fittings and valves and electrical work associated with power and control wiring.

The Staunton River High School Hydronic Piping Loop Replacement project generally consists
of the demolition and replacement of the existing heating hot water piping loop that connects
the boiler plant and the mechanical pump rooms in six buildings. The work involves some
cutting and patching of terrazzo floor to accommodate piping replacement.

Pump Station install

This project consists of stabilizing approximately 130 feet of the southern streambank of Blackwater
Creek in the vicinity of a 10” sewer line crossing. Stabilization work will include the installation of
backfill, an Envirolok® vegetative wall and other associated materials.

The work includes the furnishing of the labor, materials and equipment and the construction of the
following: Replacement of the existing metal package plants (three separate trains) and metal aerobic
digesters with a new membrane bioreactor system (two trains) and two aerobic digesters; new coarse
screen building, new fine screen building, new ultraviolet disinfection system, new non -potable water
system, miscellaneous manhole and tankage modifications; appurtenant piping, site work, utilities
and facilities. The membrane bioreactor system has been pre -selected.
