Power Source. This project is a Rebid of the project advertised initially on February 13, 2021. Work consists of
installing four diesel generators (41 kW, 41kW, 42kW, and 83kw) at four unique sites near the Town of Altavista.
Work includes construction of concrete generator pad at three sites, construction of elevated platform at the final
site, and fencing at two sites.

The work includes the furnishing of the labor, materials and equipment and the construction of the
following: Replacement of the existing metal package plants (three separate trains) and metal aerobic
digesters with a new membrane bioreactor system (two trains) and two aerobic digesters; new coarse
screen building, new fine screen building, new ultraviolet disinfection system, new non -potable water
system, miscellaneous manhole and tankage modifications; appurtenant piping, site work, utilities
and facilities. The membrane bioreactor system has been pre -selected.

This project consists of stabilizing approximately 130 feet of the southern streambank of Blackwater
Creek in the vicinity of a 10” sewer line crossing. Stabilization work will include the installation of
backfill, an Envirolok® vegetative wall and other associated materials.

The project is generally described as: New construction work includes site preparation and construction of a 2,320 SF
combination Business and Mercantile building consisting of Office, Kitchen, Reception, Exhibit/Display,
Sales/Merchandise, Work Area, Conference Room and Visitors Toilet Rooms connected by a breezeway. The building is
concrete slab on grade, wood framed structure with wood trusses, architectural shingle roof and composite cement siding.
Exterior windows and doors are aluminum clad wood. Interior finishes include polished concrete floors, ceramic wall tile,
painted gypsum wallboard walls/ceilings and acoustic tile. An additive bid item will include a composite wood deck,
pressure treated structure and railings with metal baluster infill
